People With Perspective
Our team is a unique combination of up-and-coming individuals in the web technology and visual design industries. We each have specialties and areas of interest that come together to form a rare complement of standards-based design, remarkable interactivity, and cross-platform functionality.
Carol Paull - Director of Operations
Carol, with an innate entrepreneurial spirit, joined Systek Computing as a partner assuming management of the web division and becoming acting CFO. Following great success running the Systek Computing web division, Carol founded Net Perspective based on the principal of providing high quality custom web-based solutions for businesses. Within Net Perspective, Carol heads customer relations, marketing, and financial planning.
Carol Paull was originally born in Taiwan. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Computer Engineering and a Masters of Computer Science from Texas A&M University. Her hobbies include playing the piano, running, and spending time with her husband and daughter Emily.
R.A. Ray - Creative Director
R.A. is in charge of all the visual design and front end development that Net Perspective produces. He is obsessed with compelling and inventive interfaces as well as a usability-first approach to design.
While his design knowledge comes from studying art and architecture at Texas A&M and, for a brief time, in Italy, he is a completely self-taught web designer. He is constantly reading publications about web design and best practices and implementing what he learns in Net Perspective's designs and markup. What began as a part-time hobby has become the driving force for creativity in his life.
R.A. recently spoke at BarCamp Texas on Progressive Enhancement.
Daniel Cousineau - Project Manager
Having developed a passion for computing at an early age, Daniel initially gained experience with web infrastructure learning about network topology, server function, and services implementation. While Daniel's passion shifted to software development, the core understating of systems interactions coupled with his computer science education has given him the unique ability to create intricate programs that maximize system performance while minimizing overhead.
Daniel is deeply knowledgeable about the latest web technologies and has a passion for demonstrating skill and precision in his work. He manages development projects, testing, deployment of software solutions, and other cutting edge R&D projects.
Daniel continues to be involved in the community, from gaining his Eagle Scout in 2004 to participating in the burgeoning technology/web sector of Bryan/College Station through refreshBCS and other community organizations.
Daniel recently spoke at BarCamp Texas about the Model, View, Controller framework structure.
Ryan Bland - Senior Graphic Designer
Ryan's eclectic interests range from film making to classical music but his main passions are graphics, art, and animation. He has an Associates degree in Architecture and a Bachelor degree in design and he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Visualization Sciences at Texas A&M.
The Net Perspective team has utilized Ryan's talents for two years. In that time he has created a diverse portfolio of web based animations and applications. His primary tools for graphics development include Adobe® Flash, Adobe® Photoshop, Adobe® Premiere, and 3D Studio Max. These applications allow Ryan to create products such as interactive demonstrations, 3D renderings and animations, and graphics based applications.
Jim Gibbs - Designer
An award winning graphic designer, cartoonist, and artist, Jim is now making his name in the web design arena. He has a Bachelor's degree in design and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Visualization Sciences at Texas A&M.
As a member of the Net Perspective team for over a year, Jim brings with him an artistic background steeped in traditional media. In addition to the traditional, he also utilizes digital graphics packages to design and create 3D renderings, animations, banners, and illustrations.
Andrew Ellis - Developer
Andrew spends most of his time programming and studying computer security. Working in languages such as JAVA, PHP, python, and C++, Andrew has developed open-source applications for personal use. As an administrator on a large, user based security website Andrew stays current with new technology and vulnerabilities in the computer world.
As part of Net Perspective Andrew develops the code required for dynamic websites in PHP. He uses his knowledge in computer security to help develop secure websites and to protect clients' personal information. Andrew works to keep all Net Perspective employees up to date on current security standards while still maintaining functionality.
Andrew recently spoke at BarCamp Texas about Website Security.
