BCS Employment is a web-based startup seeking to become a leader in the highly competitive world of job placement services. Their strategy was to focus solely on job listings local to the Bryan / College Station, Texas area and to present these listings with a heretofore unprecedented level of visual and interactive clarity. They chose Net Perpective to provide this and more.
From Scratch
Business and design goals in hand, Net Perspective went about crafting a complete solution from the ground up. First, an identity and slogan were developed to represent the company image and message and to inform all later design choices. While the basic functionality of listing jobs wasn't a mystery, typical listing sites have cramped and confused layouts. What was called for was clear organizational structure and big, bold calls to action.
A truly unique search results page.
No part of of a job search site is more important to a job seeker than searching. The search fields
are displayed prominently and the search results page is unique in the industry. All search results
are displayed as a table of relevant information. Each listing is colorized corresponding to the level
experience required for the position and custom icons help to clarify the details.
In addition to the design, Net Perspective also coded the entire back-end including the system to allow employers to sign up and add their own listings and the custom CMS for managing the sites users, listings, and ads. We take pride in empowering our customers to take control and massage their website to be as effective a tool for their business as possible.
